EPIC on the WAY

We are approaching the final weeks of preparation for Epic. A few key points you need to keep in mind as you get ready for go-live. Epic will not be available to end users until ALL training is complete. This includes classroom training and personalization labs. There are no exceptions so please keep this in mind, especially if you are unable to attend your scheduled session as you must make arrangements to reschedule. Please note: SABA is the source of truth for the location of personalization labs. Rooms have been reassigned and you may not have received an updated calendar invite with the correct location. So be safe and check SABA.

With the transition to Epic, patients who are seen on or after 6/2/2018 will be documented in EPIC. This means that ambulatory care provided prior to 6/2/2018 will be documented and managed in AllScripts. Please note you must finalize notes, complete charges and Tasks as Allscriipts will be read only sometime in mid-June.

If you have questions contact your DCO/Research Administrator or Cindy Flynn.
