Come enjoy dinner and our guest, Chris Wallace, CFP®, AAMS®, Financial Advisor, Edward Jones, speaking on financial planning as it relates to the unique circumstances of junior faculty. To help Chris to prepare for his presentation, if you have any specific topics you would like him to come prepared to address, please send those to Phil Abraham. philipmabraham@wustl.edu

  1. To provide an opportunity for group mentoring between junior faculty
  2. To provide a confidential venue to unveil any notable barriers in one’s career trajectory within the pediatric department
  3. Finding commonalities in each other’s roles in clinical work and research, identifying any processes that limit how goals are attained, and how individuals address them
  4. Bringing to light how discrimination is identified and how it’s currently addressed
  5. Finding ways to elevate each other’s platforms within the department
  6. Providing the OFD ideas for programs for the next academic year for faculty
